The 4-star VisitScotland accredited Stirling Youth Hostel is set in the grounds of Erskine Church just a short walk from historic Stirling Castle high above the town center with views over the surrounding area. The hostel offers a range of comfortable rooms with attached bathroom and spacious shared accommodations many with views over the surrounding countryside. Guests can opt a wee breakfast served in the large dining room or take advantage of the well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Dinner and packed lunches are also available by prior arrangement for groups of 10 or more. Other facilities include free WiFi private lockers USB plug sockets two large lounge areas and a meeting room for private use. Basic provisions confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception. Limited on-site car parking is available. The Castle and Old Town Jail are just a short walk away while The Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitor Center can be reached by car or public transport. Blair Drummond Safari Park (open March to October) is easily accessible by car. Edinburgh and Glasgow are within easy reach with good public transport links to both cities. The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.

Liked: Great hostel well located, Hamish was great!

Liked: location great, staff fantastic
Disliked: noise from the stairs, you can hear everyone walk and up and down, the nature of being in a dorm is that some people snore, or get up early when you're trying to sleep but that's the nature of a dorm

Superb

A good value stay in...

Liked: Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, the staff were great, the room was spacious
Disliked: The floors (our own and the one above us) were incredibly creaky! Almost everywhere you stepped made a loud creaking noise and it seemed the people above our room (107) were pacing back and forth over creaky floorboards till late!Fortunately, all went quiet eventually!

Cheap, cheerful but a little...

Liked: Decor, bedding, walls, curtain very very dated. Floor really creaky and loud in the private room. Disturbed me while I was sleeping when someone walked over it.
