A very smart hotel in a cracking setting in centre of Stirling; staff were very nice, so was breakfast. Would go back without a second thought.

Liked: The building itself and public areas were great.
Disliked: The bedroom we stayed in was a bit tired with worn carpet and broken door inside bathroom.

We had a good stay.

Liked: We really enjoyed the position of the hotel and the leisure facilities were excellent.
Disliked: the bed, which was two singles joined together, was uncomfortable. the carpet was very tired, as was the room furniture. It was not possible to upgrade the room at the time as the hotel was full. We asked for some refund but this was not available.

Disliked: the windows in the room were drafty and rattled a lot in the wind - but it was quit windy during our stay - the choice at breakfast was great the food was really tasty - but serving a buffet type breakfast onto cold plates is not ideal the food goes cold really quickly which resulted in taking little pieces and having to go up numerous times so that your food remained hot - please heat the plates - plus it was buys but some of the areas became a bit messy and they were slow o be cleaned up - some people putting used teabags in with the unused ones so more clear signage is required - but all in all we had a great time - thank you!
