A very smart hotel in a cracking setting in centre of Stirling; staff were very nice, so was breakfast. Would go back without a second thought.
Liked: The building itself and public areas were great.
Disliked: The bedroom we stayed in was a bit tired with worn carpet and broken door inside bathroom.

Comfy, welcoming & a bit...
Liked: Lovely staff, beautiful building, great location
Disliked: The heating was on a central switch meaning you have no control over the room temperature. When we arrived it was freezing and in middle of night boiling.

Reasonable overall staff good breakfast...
Liked: Breakfast , but paid extra for deluxe room but didn’t seem any better than a standard room . In fact tv didn’t even have a remote . Some of the lights did t work in room

Enjoyable and relaxing
Liked: Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The character of the hotel and the decor.
Disliked: Very long distance from reception to the health and fitness centre spa area it was a bit like a maze, long wait times for food in the restaurant.

Reunion Trip
Liked: Parking was good as was location. very handy for Stirling Castle. Staff were friendly and helpful. Scenery is lovely.
Disliked: I should have booked earlier as I couldn't get an accessible or semi accessible room, which was a problem for showers as a disabled person. Stirling is on very steep hills as well, which will be difficult for people with mobility issues.
