A very smart hotel in a cracking setting in centre of Stirling; staff were very nice, so was breakfast. Would go back without a second thought.

Liked: The building itself and public areas were great.
Disliked: The bedroom we stayed in was a bit tired with worn carpet and broken door inside bathroom.

Disliked: Staff communication.Evening meal we had to wait ages to be served although it wasn't busy.Our room wasn't ready until nearly 9pm.When complained I had been promised phone calls after investigation, albeit everything had been logged. I have called and yet again been fobbed off. Just not good enough! Spent a lot of money for a lovely experience but have received nothing but disappointment and hassle.....not the relaxing experience I had expected. Shame on you, Stirling Highland Hotel!

Incredibly underwhelming and overpriced

Liked: The location was ideal and the staff were friendly but it’s in dire need of modernisation.Our bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in and it was incredibly run down- we were thankful for booking just one night.

Liked: The Stirling Highland Hotel is located blocks from Stirling Castle and the Church of the Holy Rude. It’s a bit of climb up a steep hill to get to the hotel from the city center but it was good exercise. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent value for the money.

Liked: Booked so we could use the pool and spa facilities which were great.
Disliked: All great. If I was being picky I would say access to toiletries such as hair conditioner as had to go buy some for our stay.
