no-frills, budget motel

Liked: Staff were welcoming. Inexpensive. Easy parking.
Disliked: room looked clean on the surface, but then we found a used disposable razor under the head of the bed and a wad of (used?) towels in the bathroom vanity One thin blanket (visited in winter). Heater was extremely loud. Manager warned there were no carpets and that our footsteps would be heard by the room below. We found floors to be creaky; can’t imagine what it was like for the downstairs neighbors. Bathroom was clean and had a big rainhead showerhead but very little water pressure.
