I should’ve checked the room...

Liked: It was convenient that they did not require a security deposit. Also, the blue light in my room was quite cool.
Disliked: I should have checked my room before paying. After completing my check-in, I went to my room and decided to inspect it for safety, as I am a female traveling alone. The bed and shower/restroom were clean, but I noticed several issues: the curtain was broken, the walls were dirty and scuffed, and the door would not shut completely. I could literally see outside from my room, and I could hear the interstate noise because the door wouldn’t close.After checking in, I walked back to the front desk to request a room change. I explained that I felt uncomfortable staying in a room with a door that did not close properly, especially since I was traveling alone. One of the staff members asked me to walk him back to my room to show him the problem. I was already frustrated and told him that I wouldn’t go back to the room; I intended to change rooms regardless.When they came back downstairs, they tried to convince me that there was nothing wrong with the room, but then informed me that they did not have any other rooms available. They suggested that no one would come into the parking lot or attempt to open my door, implying that I shouldn’t be concerned for my safety. However, the door not closing was a significant security issue.Eventually, they told me I could request a room change in the morning since checkout was at 11 AM. When I went back down a little after 11, they continued to give me the runaround and said they weren’t sure if any rooms were available. I decided to check out instead, as my safety is far more important than the $66 I paid for the room.

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable, and it had the amenities we needed. Our room was kind of hidden, so we did not get much noise. They had an elevator to the second floor. The water pressure was pretty good.
Disliked: You can tell this is an old hotel, the room was comfy, but I did not feel safe or secure, as the door did not have an extra latch. You can see the wear and tear with the hole in the wall in the restroom, the black patch in the tub.

Awful roach motel / brothel/...

Liked: There was absolutely nothing to like.
Disliked: Room filthy white stains in floor, walls with no paint,stained sheets and the rudest manager EVER! We asked for clean sheets and caused a big commotion. No matter how we tried to deescalate, she just kept yelling

Disliked: Cleaning & room service...Sometimes, they bring not cleaned towels..I asked to change and they did.

Worst stay of our trip

Liked: Freezer was strong.
Disliked: There were cockroaches and flies in the rooms. The wifi didn't work at all and the staff simply brushed it off. The microwave was not working well and not turning. Many things were rusty, and the towel rod dropped. Shower curtain was not done properly. Floor and rug were dirty, alarm clock and phones not working
