Very good
Liked: Great location. Walking distance to everything. View from private balcony was beautiful. Spa was relaxing.

Pretty good.
Liked: Great view. Friendly staff. Close to beach and cafes.
Disliked: The stairs were steep and tough . We are old though.

Disliked: Bed not comfortable, price point too high for the quality of the room.

Liked: The location was sensational.
Disliked: The look of the room was very old & outdated. Bed was comfortable though. Bedside light didn't work. No where to plug in kettle that worked. For $220 I think it was well overpriced.

Grand old lady in prime...
Liked: Beautiful view of Port Philip Bay and Dromana beach.Our front room was spacious, with separate sitting area and kitchen. Well-decorated in a comfortable style in keeping with hotel's period and architecture.
Disliked: Street advertising lights were bright and intrusive. Because it's a normal pub there were gaming room room and typical commercial advertising lights blazing into the room. Curtains were not effective in blocking this out.Morning traffic starts at 5 am, but we expected this due to town centre location.Easy to check-in, but after this it was quite inconvenient to access our car and luggage via back fire escape stairs.

Very good
Liked: The room was neat and tidy. Staff were very friendly both on the phone and when we got there. Location would have been amazing if we had stayed longer and not have something planned to leave at 7am.
Disliked: There is a light just outside our window which we think is sensor driven. It keeps going on and off, luckily we can close the door which blocks that away while we are in bed. But going to the toilet in the middle of the night was spooky.
