A Great Hotel If You...

Liked: The hotel was close to the main station, restaurants and grocery stores. The room was also a decent size as expected with a walk-in closet and a separate shower and bathtub.
Disliked: Outside of the hotel there were people smoking constantly. Inside of the hotel the main lobby reeked of cigarette smoke but I thought that was due to the bar although I never saw anyone smoking there. After going to my room I didn't notice any issues at first but I immediately left for an appointment in Stuttgart. When I returned it was clear that my room had been smoked in even though it was apparently a non-smoking room. I called the front desk to inform them of the issue they moved me to another room on a different floor. However even in the new room the faint smell of cigarettes was ever-present and the hallways also had a lingering cigarette odor.This hotel was in complete contrast to the Steigenberger Icon Frankfurter Hof that I stayed at a little over a week prior during my trip to Europe. That hotel had a cigar room or smoking lounge but the smell of tobacco was limited to just a few feet outside of that room in the main lobby area which I only passed by while entering and leaving the building. This hotel on the other hand was inexplicably worse in comparison.I should also add that I didn't like the fact that the hotel did not provide encrypted Wi-Fi but had a captive web portal for sign-in (and possibly logging) which is useless and the second room that I was moved to had a defective TV.The cigarette odor issues were not something that I expected from a hotel of this caliber, it was more akin to a low-end motel in America. In my opinion smoking should be completely banned indoors.

Liked: I liked the location and the wide reception.
Disliked: The rooms are very bad, first of all they are very shapeless. The air conditioner does not heat enough, we were cold. Also the rooms are very dirty, they only cleaned the visible areas. The dust behind the television must have been left from 3 months ago. The pillows are very uncomfortable, very thin, as if they were paper and not pillows.

Disliked: The property was in a good area as far as restaurants and shopping, but the area didn’t feel safe (lots of immigrants and there had been a recent murder), plus construction across the street looking out your window was not pleasant

Liked: Perfect location opporsite Central Station, nice room and fantastic staff from reception to breakfast and coffee served in lobby. Cannot fault the staff, they cared and smiled and were fantastic. Very impressed - thank you

Excellent place to stay, very...

Liked: The staff were so helpful, my son lost an airpod in the room. The staff were so helpful in finding it and shipping it to us. Breakfast was plentiful and the waiting staff were very polite
