Liked: The food was excellent and great choices. lovely attentive friendly staffRooms were quirky and comfortable

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, but cups and cutlery were grubby, had to ask for more.
Disliked: Cleanliness was lacking everywhere. Overall very tired and grubby. Bed was clean, but floors and surfaces were not. Bed very small, single glazed windows so very damp in the morning.

Fabulous

Liked: Was offered a luxury rooon which was well appreciated thank you. It is a lovely place,very quiet. Great staff. Highly recommend.
Disliked: No evening restaurant BUT can fully understand it is a quiet time and not worth opening up a restaurant for one. So not a real problem AND you can bring in a takeaway. Sorted!!!

Comfortable, cosy stay at old...

Liked: It’s an interesting,ornate old building with plenty of character.We liked that it’s slightly shabby; it has plenty of character,a warm and welcoming place.Lovely setting.Our room was very big,huge bay window,sitting area.The bed was soo comfortable.The breakfast was good.The breakfast room charming.We felt very well looked after!
