Me and my girlfriend spent one night and were very pleased with our brief stay. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others, and if we found ourselves needing a place to stay in the Boston area would definitely stay at the Chandler Inn again.

Liked: Everything besides room temperature.
Disliked: Room was too hot - couldn't figure out how to turn the heat down.

Superb

Liked: Very convenient location and a short walk between stops for hop on, hop off tours. Pub next door served the best food. You get offered a free drink upon checking in.
Disliked: As most hotels do, they took a hold out on my card and was told it would be a small amount. It was, in fact, a bit more than the 3 nights accommodation, which hit back pocket hard. It was returned 7 days later. Conversion to Aussie dollars, which was huge.

Great location, great value for...

Liked: The location was central for getting around Boston, the bed was comfortable (though I would like a top sheet for when the down comforter gets too warm), there's a free drink for the hotel bar, and they held onto our luggage so we explore after our check out.
Disliked: The bathrooms are small, but this is a hotel in a city so it's to be expected. They do make a good use of the small room and bathroom space, so just go into it knowing you can't spread out all over and you'll be fine.

Liked: The position of the hotel is great and central, and the neighborhood around is very nice. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The hotel had a bar/restaurant open to the public on the ground floor, and it was nice and full of young people. Indeed, I suggest to choose this stay if you are a young couple or group of friends. When booking, I’ve found this option the most convenient in terms of quality-price.
Disliked: Of course the convenient price with respect to other structures comes at some cost. The room was on average clean but furniture was quite dusty and the bathroom was tiny. The room cleaning service is provided just if you stay more than 2 nights. Furthermore, there was light coming from the window - which could be easily solved with a pair of curtains - + the window was not soundproof and could hear all the traffic coming from the street outside.
