Disappointing

Liked: I didn’t take the breakfast and there were roaches in my room. I found someone’s dirty underwear under my bed and there was old food in the refrigerator. The staff by the way is outstanding they went out of their way to make me comfortable.

Mixed Use Hotel needs to...

Liked: It is set up as Suite Accommodations, so a small kitchen and extra space. That's nice. especially if you plan to stay for a week or more. The breakfast options are much better than many we have seen. But only available starting at 7:30, so not much use if you have to get an average-early start. There are long term residents of the Hotel, some families. So it is a mix of hotel type stays with long term residents.
Disliked: Cleanliness of the room was an issue. Rug stains, hair in the shower, poorly vacuumed carpets; the kitchen area wasn't gross but it hadn't been cleaned well and was not up to the standard I would have expected based on the reviews. Roaches in the kitchen area. Hallways, stairs and access areas dirty. Exit doors don't latch closed. Light bulbs missing from lamps and no batteries in the TV remote. Expected much better. Pool was broken and shut down. Staff was courteous. But the cleaning staff doesn't do an adequate job. It is understandable that excess hotel space be put to use with housing difficult to find, but if it is going to be a mixed use Hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms used for "Hotel" Guests who are paying premium prices need to be a priority and the furniture and rugs maintained to a better standard. For us the stay was ok though disappointing. I sense for more demanding customers this would have been unacceptable
