Superb
Liked: The look. The safeness. The staff. The continental breakfast.
Disliked: Some facilities were closed, like the pool table. We chose this hotel for the kids to have something to do.

Liked: Location. Room size.
Disliked: The manager on duty was the rudest person I've ever encountered in the hospitality field. He interrupted a conversation I was having with an employee to check on items that were going wrong with my stay. He gave me the catering manager card when I asked for his info. He threatened to cancel my room and give a refund. I was in town for an overnight stay from Missouri to leave on a cruise the following morning with no other resources to change my hotel choice because of his actions. I have stayed at staybridge multiple times over the years of traveling and I will say I will NEVER stay at this Long Beach airport location. The water was off for over an hour. When I was checking in at 250pm I was told to wait for 10 minutes as a room was not available. So I asked to use the facilities and was told the hotel had no running water and that I could walk to the hotel next door to use their facilities. As I sat, another guest walked in and checked in immediately. Since my 10 minutes hadn't expired and I was told to wait. I asked the employee why I couldn't check in but someone after me could. As they were explaining that that guest had a different room type that was ready. I completely understood. I then let them know that I wasn't happy with the circumstances so far and Sasha ( is what I was told later as the rude manager) walked over and was entirely rude and unacceptable.I had also booked this hotel because it offers free shuttles from Long Beach airport there and to go to the shuttle area and a shuttle will come every 30 minutes. After waiting an hour. I called the hotel and was told oh they didn't have a shuttle for the day and that if I caught taxi they would pay for it. Well the taxi location wasn't in a walkable distance for me as I had a guest in a wheelchair and 3 luggage's. I had to call a Uber for a ride.

Besides the rude manager and...
Liked: Great location and easy to get to. Hotel is modern and clean. Our room was spacious and loved the kitchen. great amenities like gym, pool and hot tub.
Disliked: staff was not friendly or helpful. One night the hot water wasn't working and they told us they don't know when it'll be working. We complained and the manager told us we can go to another hotel! Also the day of check out they told us suddenly that the electricity would be off at 11am but the elevators should be working. Of course when we went to check out the elevators were NOT working and staff was pretty much like "oh well, use the stairs". We were on 6th floor with kids and all of our luggage. My husband and I complained to ask for compensation for the hot water and elevator problems and the manager was very rude and did not care. Terrible service.

Nightmare & Holds Refund
Disliked: Booking.com is holding our refund from the hotel after the hotel agreed to refund our remaining nights since we evacuated the wildfire and had another place to go.
