Never again

Disliked: The night time manager was extremely rude, never have I been yelled at before for something I never did. Accused of smoking in the room while I was in the parking lot. Harassed to the point of tears, the manager told me to smoke in a car instead, which is illegal. 4th time here and it will be my last. I was shown by the staff and told that I was allowed in the parking lot, it is my 4th stay here and never had a problem until last night. Never have I been yelled at or disrespected like this, I was in town mourning the death of a friend and the interaction with management being yelled at and threatened wrongfully really made the experience horrible. Please train your staff to respond accordingly and to offer accurate information instead of having some crazy lady yell at paying guests wrongfully. There was never a polite interaction with this lady manager, she went straight to threats of police and fines and didn't apologize until confronted in the lobby. Also please clean your breakfast area, as someone who works in hospitality and food I was disgusted by the cereal containers which have obviously never been cleaned out, and the state of the area itself.

Great place to stay location...

Liked: I don’t mind the construction. The egg omelette in the morning was a bit burnt and rubbery.

Hotel was overall clean, staff...

Liked: Breakfast was good. always eggs, sausage or bacon , potatoes, oatmeal , 3 kinds of cereal , waffles , fruit etc . Plenty of choices , coffee was always hot . Only negative was the juice machine would sometimes spit out the most water down orange juice we just dumped it out . Very minor
Disliked: Paying 10$ a day for parking at a hotel you’re spending several hundred dollars at . The main king bed was comfortable but slightly worn , but the pull out bed in the couch I think came over on the mayflower . Cardboard covered with a bed sheet best describes it . No pool and no hot tub which are musts with kids

Liked: I liked the layout of the king room. The beds were very comfortable. I really liked that they had beverages out in the lobby. I really appreciate cold water that doesn’t come from a soft water sink!
Disliked: The pillows were a little flat. We played cards in the lobby but they had a loud fan going the whole time we were there.

Superb

Liked: they where super nice, the hotel location is super efficient. Plus they had food and drinks events in the main lobby for the guests.
Disliked: the breakfast food should offer healthier options also. But overall it was good!

Bitter sweet stay

Liked: The hotel looks like new, the employees were kind and it has a river walk closed, so you can walk there.
Disliked: During breakfast there was homeless people grabing the food and sneaking on the food. It was a really bad experience because we were having the breakfast there. I suggest you put some security in there and if they can have the food during the closing hours you should do it more higenically, the employees saw everything and they didnt do nothing.
