Overall, I would stay again...

Liked: Good location, solid service
Disliked: 1. Breakfast was subpar. Only a few hardboiled eggs to go with the sausage and potatoes. Normally, I'd see pre-made omelets or scrambled eggs. Also, floor was sticky. No juices were available. 2. Mold in shower

Liked: The man at the front counter when we checked in was delightful and friendly! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Liked: Great hotel and pet friendly. The location is beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of.

Liked: Location close to food and shopping
Disliked: The hallways to get to rooms are like a maze. Elevator is so far from the lobby, and not labeled very clearly

Worst experience of my life

Liked: Rooms could have been nice. Location was great.
Disliked: Manager has terrible customer service. Overbooked hotel. Unable to give us the room booked and parent is handicap. Waited 3 hours to check in to receive 2 rooms one which smelled like cat pee.

The location was excellent for...

Liked: I did not have the chance to experience it for long due to early morning flight. The beds were comfortable the rooms were spacious and cleaner than other hotels I had stayed in on my trip.
Disliked: The only negative was a very dirty fork was in the silverware drawer with the clean utensils.

Liked: The room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: The entrance smells like a urinal. Not like urine, but like the blue liquid and mothballs found in men’s urinals. Just a really funky unpleasant bathroomy smell, like in a gas station. The breakfast was a mess. Trash overflowing, they kept running out of stuff. Some of the fruit seemed too old for to be left out. They seem overwhelmed like they need more staff. I paid over $750 for two nights so would expect nicer. Granted, it was family weekend at UVA with a home football game, so Charlottesville was slammed and everything was overpriced. I’ll avoid this place in the future.

Bad

Liked: Nothing!!!
Disliked: Upon arrival we were told they cancelled our reservation because we booked through a 3rd party booking site (booking.com) and they had housekeeping issues (5 rooms trashed the previous night), they flat out told us that third party booking sites don’t have priority. We arrived at 11pm (which we stated we would be arriving late on our reservation) only to be told they gave our room away. It was not pleasant to say the least. The staff was rude and condescending.
