Fantastic stay!!

Liked: Clean. Friendly host. Large room quiet. Cool backyard. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy bed.

Overall we had a great...

Liked: Great location to Belleayre Mountain, Phoenicia, Woodstock, Slide Mountain and numerous other hiking trails, dog friendly, outdoor gazebo, screened room, fire pit and picnic tables plus kitchenette.
Disliked: Our room on the end #8 was a little older and dated, musty smelling but the beds were really comfortable.

Enormous rooms in a beautiful...

Liked: It was like going back in time to the awesome motels of my childhood! The room was enormous and in a beautiful setting.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have windows that open to the fresh air. Even though it was 50 degrees outside our room was quite stuffy and we needed the air conditioner.

Disliked: Shower. Scalding hot water temperature fluctuations so bad it's at your own risk.

Liked: The hotel lost power due to a storm before we even made the reservation. They never shared that information until we got there. There were no lights, AC, hot water, wifi or kitchenette. The only place to charge ones phone was in ones car. When I said I thought we deserved a hefty discount, she only offered $30.
Disliked: The hotel management could have supplied flashlights and lanterns, moved furniture to make a seating area near the office/manager's residence, a coffee station for the guest. They had a generator for the office and residence so they were familiar with loosing power and yet did nothing for the paying guests
