This 18th-century country house family-run hotel features 42 individually styled rooms and suites. All rooms feature an private bathroom a flat-screen Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is provided in the morning. A fine dining menu features local produce in The Dining Room restaurant and there is a casual lounge bar that serves real ales good homemade food. The hotel is located just on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds close to South Humber bank Immingham Ports Grimsby Docks and Killingholme. Liked: Big comfortable bed. Considering it was a budget roomGood shower and clean.Great Breakfast cooked to order
Disliked: No view all I could see out of the window was other rooms windowsThe noise of slamming doors and the noise from the kitchen were annoying but this settled after 10pm. If your going to stay here advise you do not get a budget room as they appear to be over the resteraunt / kitchen.Evening meal was average but service was good.

Liked: Room lovely and clean. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: I saw other rooms as I was at a private party and a few of us stayed over. I know what others paid and who they booked with. Found my room budget room. Old fashioned furniture. For what I paid room could of been better.

A great place to stay...

Liked: A comfortable room, so lovely to have a bath too.Great breakfast served by smiling waitress.
Disliked: No real issues, only one set of towels but this issue was soon sorted.

Pleasant Overnight Stay

Liked: Friendly staff, comfy bed - although the pillows were a little on the firm side for me (personal preference, I admit). Powerful shower (a big plus for me!). WNice location with nice views from the room over adjoining fields.Nice breakfast too.
Disliked: Bathroom tiles were a bit mouldy in places, and the room window was locked but no key, although I'm sure the staff would have provided one if asked.
