Exceptional
Liked: We went there for our 50th Wedding Anniversary (our honeymoon spot) The restaurant was undergoing renovation which was disappointing but the rest of the property was totally retro cool!

Liked: Great location. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the amenities were great. Can’t wait to go back in warmer weather and enjoy the pool.

Liked: Loved the walkability to the shops on Main Street.
Disliked: We did not have any hot water and there was a knocking noise in the pipes/ceiling throughout the night while trying to sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay...
Liked: This historical property was close to everything we wanted to experience in Salado. The rooms had central heat and air and the beds were very comfortable. They also had white noise machine on the night stand which helped with the traffic noise.
Disliked: We wish the restaurant would have been up and running.
