Very comfortable and friendly place...

Liked: We travelled for three weeks through Europe. The staff at Rheinischer Hof made as feel very much at home. And their breakfast menu was the best we experienced throughout the entire trip. Great way to experience German culture by getting exposed to German classic literature - the owners are fans of Goethe and they provide a fine selection of classic literature to the guests. I wish though that we had not booked through booking , com. They change the rates, something we noticed that on other occasions as well. We will contact all of our hotels directly, from now on.
