Forming part of St Pancras International train station this elegant hotel has immediate access to the high speed Eurostar service and the Tube. Luxurious surroundings include a tea lounge 2 restaurants and bars a spa and relaxation pool. Complimentary WiFi is available in the public areas. Rooms within this spectacular building and recently extended Barlow House are each fitted with state-of-the-art entertainment systems including a 37-inch flat-screen TV. Convenient for location but over...

Liked: The Concierge was lovely. Couldn't do enough for us and extremely friendly.
Disliked: Our rooms were extremely outdated for the price we paid for them. Reception staff at check in quite snobby.

Interesting and fairly good thought...

Liked: Good food although restricted to one cold dish and one hot one.
Disliked: I was sure I had booked a room with two beds but was told on arrival that there wasn’t any rooms like that available. I would not have booked if I realised my daughter and I would have to share a room.

Perfect for a weekend getaway...

Liked: The breakfast in the booking office was very good. The building is gorgeous and so was the room. We came down from Leeds and the train comes in to Kings Cross so it was a great location for us.
Disliked: The hotel says it is part of the pledge of reducing food waste however offer a cold and hot dish. The cold dish of homemade Granola was massive given it was a part of a larger breakfast offering. This led to my partner only having a few mouthfuls as she wanted to enjoy her warm breakfast. I did not like the buffet breakfast and was surprised this was offered as a good thing to those it paid for more expensive rooms. I prefer table service.Trying to figure out the lights in the room and finding out you cannot have the bathroom lights on without some of the room lights on unless you have the sequence correct. The pillows were to thin for my liking and there was nothing to suggest I could have a choice of different pillows.

Liked: Exceptional food and great service. Ideally located for our needs
Disliked: The lighting in the restaurant. It was very difficult to read the menu as it was so dark. Even using the table light was not ideal.
