Liked: Everything was very clean and we couldn't even hear any noise from the bar at night the lady at the counter when we checked in was so friendly

Liked: This small hotel offers a decent stay at a good price. The room was clean and comfortable, though it felt a bit cold during my stay. The location is convenient, especially if you're transiting through Winnipeg, and the large parking lot is a bonus for travelers with vehicles.
Disliked: The customer service experience leaves room for improvement. Guests have to retrieve their room key from the bar, which might be inconvenient for some, especially in the morning when staff presence is scarce. While the overall experience was acceptable, addressing the customer service issue could make this hotel even more appealing.

Great value, cozy, quiet, amazing...
Liked: Responsive management, good communication. Motel setup, super easy to get in and out for car travellers. This was maybe the quietest property we’ve ever experienced. Can’t beat the price point.
Disliked: Beds comfortable but we’re used to queens not doubles. Big coffee drinkers here and no machine in these rooms.

Wished for better
Liked: The hotel was clean, sheets were fine and no issues with anything being dirty. The bathroom had plenty of towels and extra blanket if it got cold.
Disliked: First off I hate leaving bad reviews... but I have to because it was one issue after another. The first problem was the lack of locks for the front door leading to the parking lot which didn't give too much comfort to safety, we moved a chair just incase because we were just females traveling alone. The bathroom has no counter space for makeup or any toiletries, but that wasn't something I was going to be too upset over. The biggest issue was that they allow people to smoke in the hallway despite advertising that they have non-smoking rooms. My friend and I have asthma, and it really aggravated it. The other issue we had was check out is horrible if you are on a time schedule. its not even on the listing that you can't check out any earlier than 10 am. I completely don't understand for people that have early flights how this works. We waited until 10:20 for the bartender to show up and then had to give the keys off to the restaurant since we couldn't stay any longer for an unknown amount of time. I really wanted to like the place, but it just sadly had too large of issues for us to be happy with our stay.
