Great location. Clean and modern.

Liked: Great location on the high street. Modern rooms. Very clean. Check in is at the George Hotel across the road. Parking is behind the George Hotel and is pay and display.
Disliked: Nothing.

Dirty room and very noisy

Disliked: Room was dirty with blood stains on the wall, and the toilet had not been cleaned. Room smelt like a sweaty armpit.

Great location, spacious room .

Liked: Such a good location and easy to use card for access .
Disliked: The carpet and some of the towels/ bedding where a little stained .Could also do with more than two tea bags and four milks .

Great hotel, would use again...

Liked: Fantastic location, beautiful big room with lots of windows! Comfy bed, big shower. The wardrobe set up was very practical too.
Disliked: I have a bug bear about limited tea and coffee bits. I drink a lot of tea and luckily I had a very short stay and I was on my own, but 2 teabags, 3 milks and 2 sugar sachets seems a little tight for a nice hotel… you’re meant to be a step up from premier inn which is what I expect from them! I did find the staff at breakfast in The George were a little abrasive… could have been more welcoming and helpful, plus the breakfast took a long time to arrive! But it was perfectly tasty and at least they provided a lot of tea! Unfortunately as well after breakfast when we went back to our rooms all of us had been locked out, all our key cards had stopped working even though it was well before check out time. That was annoying, thankfully your housekeeping lady kindly let us back in to retrieve our belongings.

Disliked: On one of the coldest nights of the year, I was given a room with no heating! I complained, and was moved to another room with faulty heating again! Receptionist said she was going to call maintenance, but could not confirm when they would come. After sitting in my puffa jacket for 4 hours, they eventually moved me to another room that had heating and no TV. I did not feel as if my plight was taken very seriously. I had really bad experience
