Pleasant stay in a beautiful...

Liked: Great restaurant, spa and leisure facilities. Exceptional staff.
Disliked: A bit disappointed with the room. Lacked character. Bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and the shower head could have been better.

Very nice hotel but breakfast...

Liked: Really nice hotel with good size beds and rooms. Very good shower
Disliked: During the off season there are a lot of workmen/women staying who need breakfast early in order to get on with their day. The hotel need to recognise this and put on more staff for the rush at 7.30am or start the breakfast earlier. We were greeted by a team member who took an order for drinks and we sat down at 7.30am but the same staff member could not start to take the food orders until 7.50am because she was so busy greeting other guests.

Great overnight stay in modern...

Liked: Location was great . Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and tidy. Furniture a little bashed but didn't really bother me. Evening meal in Nourish was very nice- quirky local food offerings and excellent staff. Breakfast was fine. Plenty of choice and all fresh . Was very busy though even though I went outside their ' busy time' . Lovely pool . Again friendly staff. Very clean changing rooms.Overall the hotel has a good modern vibe. It was very busy so not sure what it would be like in peak season rather then March though. Very good value for the price.
Disliked: Car park spaces were tight . I got one of the last so imagine it would be more difficult in peak season. No lift to get to bedrooms. Bit of a struggle getting bags up the 2 flights of tight stairs. Good point - 3 staff members offered to help .

Not the luxury stay it...

Liked: Excellent location, a stone’s throw from the beach and an easy walk into town.
Disliked: The room was small and basic in a building separate from the main part of the hotel. The rooms offer no sound proofing so you can hear everyone coming and going. Families were staying in the same building so lots of noisy children all through the day. Our room was on the ground floor with a large window looking onto a path and then a road - we had to keep the curtains closed all the time so that people didn’t look in. We paid extra for a large double bed and a room with a coffee machine. Neither of these things were worth the upgrade. Facilities are ok but so open to the public that things are crowded and difficult to enjoy the experience. Everything is so spread out that facilities are hard to find and no doubt some facilities are missed due to not knowing where anything is. Staff gave mis information about access to facilities. Breakfast was a shambles - staff took ages to take our breakfast order and then never returned with the condiments or extra drinks that we ordered. This is definitely not the luxury resort it claims to be and did not live up to expectations.

Had a wonderful time with...

Liked: The room was a great size, brekfast was amazing that hot food was included and spa was great fun with a mix of activites
Disliked: How you were charged for an espresso during the all-inclusive breakfast, lack of water machines in the Boat House

great location, good services but...

Liked: great spa, and good communal areas, the staff were friendly and the family room was a good size.
Disliked: The room looked a bit tired and the shower was terrible as it had no power at all. We had to queue for breakfast although it wasn't that long and there were warnings about that. But the quality of the cooked breakfast was very poor and felt processed.
