Quick get away. Winter in...

Liked: Great, made to order breakfast.
Disliked: Took a long time to get hot water for shower. Room was furthest from street, so presumed to be at end of hot water line. Instantaneous HW heater would reduce water use.

Ideal getaway in Ouray

Liked: The room was so cozy and comfortable. Excellent breakfast! Aurora was very sweet. Perfect location. Love all the stained glass and art. I slept amazing.
Disliked: Nothing!

Loved Ouray, loved the hotel....

Liked: The room was very comfortable, and we loved the character and ambiance of the hotel. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, coffee was great. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Our stay was great! Just felt overpriced. I wish the early morning coffee options (self serve) were more varied (choices of roasts for the Keurig machine).

Fabulous Stay (But Bring Earplugs...

Liked: Prime location on Main Street in Ouray - can walk to almost anything from the hotel. Very cute rooms, staff was very friendly, and the fresh made breakfast in the dining room was an awesome way it end the stay!
Disliked: You can hear EVERYTHING in this hotel from the other rooms. Every door opening and closing was clear as day and any talking in other rooms. People were generally respectful and keeping to quiet hours, but if you have any sensitivity to sounds during sleep, please bring earplugs. Also would be nice if the front desk had some ear plugs as well.Same goes for light sensitivity - the long rectangle windows above each door do not block any of the hallway light, so that was beaming directly onto out bed all night and made it harder to sleep as well - bring a eye mask if you have light sensitivity.
