Extremely disappointing

Liked: Disappointing. The hotel should take some time off and do a complete renovation. And the hotel needs to have an employee on site 24/7. It’s not safe. I can go on about more but it wouldn’t be pleasant. I would never recommend this place.
Disliked: The one person staff!! Extremely rude and not helpful at all. The hotel has many problems.

Liked: There was nothing but cereal and yogurt. Apparently they ran out of pastries and bagels, but i heard that they were not worth it anyway. Very disappointing. No coffee or tea out. Hard to find an employee around. It was ridiculous. Well over $300.00 a night and a rip off. It was supposed to be a wonderful fall weekend experience in a cute little town on the Hudson. I see why the ratings on line for this hotel were very low and I should have taken head and driven home.
Disliked: Almost everything. The hotel was tired looking and that is being generous. You could tell when you pulled up outside that it was going to be bad. Paint chipped bricks. A very tired looking entrance. No one around anywhere to greet you and there were two weddings in the town that weekend, so they were pretty booked up, but you wouldn't know it. The one and only positive was the beds seemed clean. Sheets were crisp. The room wasn't bad, but certainly nothing at all special about it. Plain as plain can be. Once we did find someone to check us in, he was pleasant but we had to hunt him down. to say that breakfast was included was clearly a joke.

Liked: Good location snd one of our cheaper stops.
Disliked: This hotel that has seen much better days and could be lovely. The room was clean but a but shabby, the breakfast was very poor.

Disliked: We were there for a wedding. The wedding started at 4:30 so when I booked I asked for early checking. When we arrived they told me no early check in we could possibly check in by 3:00. The ceremony started at 4:30. They finally checked us in at 3:15 which made us miss the shuttle bus but thank goodness the bride was late. I know the hotel was under construction but our room was still not completely finished and when you drove up to the hotel it looked like it was closed. We really thought we were at the wrong hotel. And there very rarely was anyone at the front desk. When we came back after the wedding the front door is open no one at the desk and there was a few homeless people across the street at the park. Not good when you come back later in the evening. Fortunately the little town was quite nice but I will not be coming back!
