Great location, quiet, good restaurants...

Liked: We loved the location as it was near some great restaurants and bars. The streetcar line was right there. The room was comfy and the beds and linens very nice as well. The staff super friendly and attentive. Would be nice to have a light breakfast offering. I would stay there again !

Very nice room, some staff...

Liked: The size of the room. The comfort of the bed. The microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The desk clerk who first greeted us.
Disliked: Cleanliness! The windows were dirty, the vanity mirror was dirty, and the maid service did not want to do daily service.The St. Charles Street Car line was so undependable that the location of this hotel was compromised.

I’ll be back!!

Liked: I loved the location, the room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, staff was helpful and accommodating, location was close to everything yet not so crowded, and we loved the balcony access.

Liked: This lovely hotel is in an excellent location for Mardi Gras if you go with children. Parking is also gated at the hotel. There is a fee for it, which is to be expected during this time of year. It is quiet at night once the parades end and everything settles down. If you want to experience bourbon or the partying atmosphere, I recommend staying closer to Canal Street.
Disliked: I would love a better coffee bar. They do have a Keurig in the lobby and rooms and a coffee shop within walking distance, so it's not a complaint, but it would be nice.
