Beatifull Place to stay at...

Liked: We had a beautiful, spacious room, with a small over for the night when it was already turning cold. The restaurant was fine, we enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. Once, they helped us out even thought the restaurant was already closed! To walk down the coast towards the small haven town was a wonderfull experience. Thank you so much!
Disliked: the hotel compund needs some renovation. The oven in our room did not properly work, but with a technician this was fixed. However, it was end fo the season, the hotel closed once we left, so maybe everybody was already very tired after a stressfull season.

Overall we enjoyed our stay...

Liked: Breakfast very good tasty and decent portion
Disliked: The only problem we had was sound proofing in the room it was pretty non existent. We were in orial b so Could here both sides quite clearly especially one side who had young children running and jumping and shouting 😡

Exceptional

Liked: We loved the quietness of it, the size of the room and the beauty of the property. Also the location was so close to all the shopping and restaurants! Our favorite thing was the complimentary harbor boat tour!

Great location for privacy and...

Liked: The Spruce Point Inn is located at a very scenic part of Boothbay Harbor at Spruce Point. The setting is impressive and the facilities in the main building are very nice. It is also very quiet and you can witness beautiful sunsets. The breakfast is excellent and reasonably priced.
Disliked: We were very disappointed with the "cottage" that we were assigned. There was no porch light to help us negotiate the stairs, the stairs and railing were in need of a coat of paint. The bathroom was tiny with a protruding toilet paper rack that got in the way of using the toilet. The heater worked intermittently, no fault of the kind and prompt maintenance person Sean who got it functioning to an acceptable degree.

I would recommend this resort

Liked: The location was great and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: The front desk receptionist was not friendly at all during check in. I called the front desk later on to inquire about where to locate ice, and again received a not so friendly response

Liked: Old inn in a Beautiful setting !
Disliked: The room had a nightlight that we could not figure out how to turn off. We would have slept better in a darker room.

The staff were very accommodating...

Liked: The atmosphere of the resort. It felt like being in a time warp of a time past. Beautiful views and grounds.
Disliked: Not crazy about the onsite restaurant. Food was lukewarm at best.

Exceptional

Liked: We loved the location and our accommodations were very comfortable and extremely clean. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts at the Salty Stag. The staff were delightful and very helpful being this was our first trip to Maine. The views are stunning and peaceful.

Beautiful property with friendly staff

Liked: It was a property that is so rich in tradition. I could see the families enjoying this resort in the 50’s and now. Such a unique experience. We loved the grounds, pool, restaurants and everything about it.
Disliked: Nothing
