Beautiful hotel!

Liked: Beautiful hotel and great stay - the only minor issues were with the pullout sofa bed not being big enough and the front desk guy that worked last night. He wasn’t super friendly but seemed to be overworked/ understaffed. Not his fault.

Very nice.

Disappointing in many ways. Possible...

Liked: The property appears relatively new and clean. Access to the highway wasn't direct, but close.
Disliked: Service was rude at best, poor to fraudulent at worse. They overcharged my card by $24.91 I noticed the next day. The check in experience was what I would describe as "weird." The guy could barely pull his nose out of his phone to acknowledge me standing in front of the desk. Explained nothing and just ran the card and handed me one key back. Didn't say hardly a word. When I noticed he had overcharged me I stopped back by 2 days later to confront him and ask why? He at first seemed confused then said it was a "security deposit." A security deposit of $24.91 seems odd. It makes more sense they just rounded it up to $160.00 even without telling me or explaining. He claimed it would be refunded in 7-8 days??? WTH. That makes zero sense so I called back the following day to get someone else on the phone. She again seemed confused why I was charged a different amount then said "oh we charge a $20 incidentals fee up front that is later refunded in a week or so" & that made me less sure they are being honest. Something sketchy going on. I've asked for the manager to call and will dispute with my credit card company immediately if this charge moves from pending to posted.Also the rooms have a terrible layout. The beds face a frosted glass bathroom directly in front. I mean directly as in 2 feet from the end of the bed. With a sliding glass & wood door. So if instead of watching TV you would rather watch your roommate brush their teeth or use the toilet this is the perfect set up for you.The air conditioner is thermostat controlled but not central. Its a ground old-style loud unit with no continuous fan option. It freezing and loud when running, or dead silent and no circulation in the room when it cycles off.
