I will return, loved being right across from the ocean and promenade. While the hotel sits right next to the train track, it was not a problem for me and didn't wake me up once, not once!
Liked: Everything was wonderful. Clean, classy rooms and service!
Disliked: None.

Liked: The room comfort, room design, cleanliness, the location was great.
Disliked: The gym is lacking mats and the gym standard is much lower than the hotel standards.The breakfast is poor, the breakfast standard equals to Novotel or Ibis standards.

Decent location, pleasant staff but...
Liked: Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location near beach, shops, restaurants and train station.
Disliked: Breakfast was really poor. Pre-packed mostly. Not even a slice of bread for toast. Had to toast poor quality bagels or muffins from prepacked plastic bags. And the cutlery was all plastic too. Despite boasting about their eco credentials and having an eco food store on the premises. Virtue signalling. I don't like eating with plastic cutlery from plastic plates and paper coffee cups for my first meal of the day. Toasters seemed on half power, as did the microwave in room. Coffee was reasonable and there was cereal and yogurt. Did not like the cleaners starting while people were still eating breakfast. The smell of detergent did not help digest the cheap, pre packed, low quality ingredients. Sub text was hurry up and leave. Every day. We were not the only ones, place was half full but many took the hint and left their food. When finished guests put all their disposable, throw away breakfast in the bins. Saves Marriot money on staff to clear and staff to wash used dishes but it soooo bad for the planet and ambience. When combined with cheap food we resolved not to stay here again.There were two lifts, one out of order the entire 4 nights. Had been for a while. Hotel seemed to think as previous guests had broken it, current guests ought not enquire about it. Made arriving and exiting tiresomely slow as it was overworked. Put us off going to the pool on 6th floor too. We waited 20 minutes one day then gave up. Another day we learned our lesson and abonded it after 10 minutes.There was a nice bar/music lounge on second floor roof. Food was limited to tacos etc despite being linked to proper bar/restaurant below. Didn't bother us, gave the place some atmosphere but the different live music acts every night were very loud. Other guest complained.

Passable
Disliked: They let me check in t 3/4 pm not earlier, and when I asked them to check out they said no, not more than 11,30 . I won't come back.
