Great hotel, we went to the House of Blues and was a short walk from our hotel. Very clean and amazing rooms. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Houston.

Liked: Walking distance to the venue. Helpful employees. Loved our room.
Disliked: Construction near the entrance area. No fault of the hotel though.

EVERYTHING IS HUGE! WORTH THE...

Liked: The room was huge! Huge desk space for me to work comfortable. Huge tv. Huge bed. Huge shower. Starbucks on the bottom floor too! Woke up in the morning, got my fancy coffee, and went up to my room and turned the AC down (which worked great). Even the chair was comfortable. Couch was big and comfy. Beautiful huge old windows that I loved.Staff at front desk AND valet were both really friendly and nice :)
Disliked: Honestly nothing negative to report. Only reason I gave it a 9 was because I've stayed at the Virgin hotel which was insanely nice for about the same price (thanks to booking dot com). So, it's not that it was bad at all just not over the top.

Liked: The property is close to the Toyota Center. It also offers breakfast.
Disliked: The room was dirty - gross stuff left in coffee machine, unclean sofa (large white marks possibly of human origin on it). The breakfast was edible but not great. House keeping was minimal. The one time only our room was serviced over the four nights they removed towels and did not replace them. There was no hot water in our shower. By the time we worked out it was a hotel problem and not us not knowing how to use the shower it was the end of the stay. When I mentioned it at check out it was a known problem with the 5th floor.
