A nice rest.

Liked: Perfect location. Good food close by. Very comfortable and the front desk was very helpful. Nice breakfast. Felt very safe and it has a pool which others with children used and thought it was great!

If ever in Fairbanks again...

Liked: Staff was very friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Could easily walk to various restaurants.
Disliked: While food in Lavelle Bistro was excellent, it was so hot in restaurant it was difficult to fully enjoy.

Downtown Fairbanks Stay

Liked: Having stayed here before the location in downtown Fairbanks is good. Views of the river are very nice, and rooms are nice and large. Breakfast has good options, and the breakfast staff was always so helpful and attentive.
Disliked: We arrived by train from Denali at night and had scheduled to use the hotel shuttle. There were actually quite a few passengers heading to the hotel but only one shuttle driver. Boarding was first come first serve which is understandable butt we ended up being the last individuals to leave the station and we missed any foot options in the hotel. I thought the last time we stayed here there were two shuttles which would have been beneficial knowing how many guests were checking in from the depot. After finally getting settled, we had planned to use the sofa bed for one of our adults but unfortunately it was not clean. It did not seem like the fitted sheet had been cleaned since the last guest. Since it was so late we slept on top of the sofa instead. The next morning, we were heading out for a tour, so I requested the sofa bed be cleaned, noting that we did not need the rest of the room since I knew cleaning was not every day. When we got back that night nothing had been done for the sofa bed, hair was still all over it with the same sheet. These two incidents were disappointing since we had such a good stay last year.

Liked: The convenience of the location. They also shuttled us to where we needed to go. The rooms a very spacious.
Disliked: N/A

Liked: The large size of the rooms plus the excellent staff.
Disliked: The breakfast buffet was a bit of a let down. It wasn’t kept replenished properly.
