Place nice! Staff not so...

Liked: Location. Room was nice and clean
Disliked: I arrived at about 2:40 PM and front desk girl told me that there were no rooms available and wouldn’t be until 3 o’clock. So I went away, came back and checked in at 3:03 and there were all kinds of rooms available. How is it that all of those rooms suddenly became available in 20 minutes? . She was also very short and rude; didn’t want to help. Didn’t even bother. Checking to see if any rooms were ready.. It was obvious that she was just getting ready to get off her shift as her purse and everything was on the counter ready to go when the next person came in at three. She just didn’t want to check us in . The next morning we went to breakfast at 8:15 AM. There was no eggs left, no bacon ,no bagels, no muffins, bread,no yogurt or cream cheese. When I went up to the desk, the same girl was there. She told me breakfast was open until 10 and I told her that There’s hardly anything out there and a lot of people waiting. She said the guy went away to make breakfast but we’d been waiting 20 minutes; during that time he could’ve brought out the things that didn’t need to be reheated. Again, she had an attitude… it really isn’t hard to be nice. Things can be said with a smile instead of being snarky. Especially since we paid so much for the room I expected better. We left. Also, Mattress and pillows hard/lumpy

Disliked: The lobby scent was a little much. It smelled good, just strong

Liked: Staff was brilliant, super clean hotel, great gym for a quick stay, fab wifi.
Disliked: The only flag could be the neighbourhood but was not an issue for us at all I would just be wary of walking late a night by oneself.
