Disappointing.

Liked: Courtesy transportation to DTW.
Disliked: The breakfast was awful compared to other Springhill Suites. The breakfast staff lady was very rude and the eggs were runny and nothing was appealing. The hotel lobby was fine but there were a bunch of extension cords connected to the television above the fireplace. We found that to be an eye sore and will not consider staying at this particular location when we return to DTW.

Good place for airport access.

Liked: We stayed in a king suite and the room was very nice. Everything looked clean and was comfortable. The shower was a nice walk-in and got nice and hot Location is also perfect if you need access to the airport. It was just a few turns and about 10 minutes away.
Disliked: Nothing really. We were just there one night. The only thing is that there isn't anything exceptional about the hotel, no "wow I'd come back here again because of..." Just a nice place to crash before a flight.

Would definitely stay again. Rooms...

Liked: Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and SPACIOUS!! Plenty of room. Shuttle was free, prompt and very very kind driver. Pool and whirlpool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use them! But the hours for use are LATE, which is awesome (11pm). Check in was easy!
Disliked: We checked in a little late (around 9pm). The two girls at the desk acted like we were bothering them. They were counting down a $ drawer - they probably should have done that in the back. We needed bottled water - it was $4 a bottle. Come on! That’s ridiculous. You should offer water for free!!! Breakfast didn’t start until after my shuttle for the airport left. I wish there were breakfast bags and coffee available!! Also - all the pillows were FLAT. Need option for a firm pillow.

not worth it and not...

Liked: the beds were pretty comfortable and the shower was separate from the toilet
Disliked: i feel like over all the stay was not worth the price paid i spent $720. for freezer breakfast sandwiches. not only that my father is diabetic and needed some juice it was only a little after breakfast when i asked if i could grab some and the receptionist told me no and that i could buy some or walk to the nearest gas station

Liked: The room was done on a modern decor and most importantly clean and tidy. The lady at the front desk was thorough in her registration and explanation of amenities.

Short stay, friendly, clean and...

Liked: We were in late and left really early, our service was exceptional as they got us in really quickly with no concerns at all and there were 19 of us in our whole party. The reception was just as pleasant and helpful at 3:00 am when we had to check out to get our flight. Thank you
Disliked: Didn't have any comments for this, everything was great.
