There was dried blood stains on the blankets. It was difficult to even reach the front desk and then I was asked why I didn't notice it the night before. I shouldn't have to inspect the blankets for issues!

Everything was wonderful, from the registration to checkout. Friendly staff, good breakfast and pool. Nice rooms, free internet, and close to Chicago.

Liked: The staff at reception was very good.The lady who prepared the breakfast was also very good. She took special care as we could only eat vegetarian. I requested for a 2 hour extension in check out time, which was given to me.
Disliked: House keeping was poor. We were told that the hotel has started daily housekeeping service however all house keeping did was change the towels.

Liked: The desk person was very nice and the room was pretty clean.
Disliked: The room, unlike the updated lobby, were showing signs of age i.e. stained furniture, paint lifting, yellow outlet and light switches. Also, the ironing board had a completely broken leg and the tub drained very slowly. This is definitely not what I was expecting at a Marriott property.
