There was dried blood stains on the blankets. It was difficult to even reach the front desk and then I was asked why I didn't notice it the night before. I shouldn't have to inspect the blankets for issues!
Liked: The space.
Disliked: Dried blood stains on the bedding.

Liked: The breakfast at Spring Hill Suites in Elmhurst was a pleasant surprise, with a good variety of options to start the day. The food was fresh and well-prepared, making for an enjoyable morning meal before heading out.
Disliked: I recently stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Elmhurst, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to a troubling incident with my AirPods. During my stay, my AirPods went missing. Unsure if I’d left them in my room or on a sofa in the lobby, I immediately asked the front desk to check the lost and found. They said nothing had been turned in.After leaving the hotel for a few hours, I checked the locator, which showed my AirPods still in the building, so I thought they might be in my room or luggage. However, later that evening, I noticed they had moved a few miles away from the hotel. Unsure if a guest or employee had taken them, I didn’t go back to the front desk, trying to avoid unnecessary confrontation. The next morning, my locator showed that the AirPods were returning to the hotel. When two employees entered the building, I received a notification that my AirPods were also back. I explained the situation to the manager, who appeared completely unsurprised and simply asked for the room number where the locator indicated they might be. We followed him to the room, where one of the employees, seeing us, quickly admitted they’d “found something.”The manager asked us to wait outside while he spoke to the employee. When he returned, he handed over my AirPods—without a single word of apology—and stated they were “found in a garbage can.” This explanation was hard to believe, as it seemed unlikely that someone would discard AirPods, and it’s equally puzzling that staff would randomly search through trash.Throughout this ordeal, my AirPods were marked as lost, meaning my contact information would have been displayed each time someone tried to connect to them. If they’d genuinely been found, returning them should have been straightforward. This experience left a very negative impression, primarily due to the poor handling of the situation and the complete lack of accountability or apology

Liked: The breakfast was hot and staff made sure it was plenty for everyone.
Disliked: I wish there was more space in the dining area. My family and I had to wait until another family finished eating before we had a place to sit and eat.
