I will hesitate to ever...

Liked: The rooms were clean and well decorated.
Disliked: The front desk staff could not find our reservation for about 45 minutes, and said we might be turned out on the street! The person helping us was shown the email with the confirmation number. This person the said, "Oh I see the problem! You used booking.com! NEVER use booking.com, they always screw something up!" He/She kept looking on the computer and finally found one of the two rooms, and said that booking.com wrote my name incorrectly. He/She then said we had not paid enough money for the two rooms, and they only had one room for us. Again, we showed the confirmation email. He/She looked some more on the computer, all the while disparaging booking.com (and making me feel stupid for using it) and asked for my son's full name (his name was on the second room reservation). All of a sudden, after having us stand there with all of our bags and a very tired seven year old grandson, He/She declared the reservation was found under my son's MIDDLE name and that I should NEVER put anyone's middle name or initial on the reservation and that all of this misunderstanding was booking.com's fault! He/She said that they have a LOT of problems with reservations from booking.com!The rooms were OK, but the water in the showers were not hot, just lukewarm. There is a train that runs directly under the rooms, right next to the hotel and it is LOUD. When we saw the jar of free ear plugs on the counter, we should have known! Needless to say it was hard to rest or sleep!The complementary breakfast was not very good. The scrambled eggs were watery and cold. The only meat options were bacon and turkey sausage. There were no grits or potatoes. They did have waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereal, bagels and muffins. A staff member in the breakfast area asked me to move aside so she could sweep the floor in front of me, while I was trying to make a waffle!The area of downtown that the hotel is located in did not feel very safe to me.

Liked: Great location when you are attending an event at the Spectrum Center. Literally across the street. The bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff was super friendly.
