Liked: The cleanliness and decor of the room, very modern and inviting! comfort of the bed, could have slept in for days! Included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, love the display and how all three were mounted to the shower wall! Shower temp and pressure were also very nice. Loved the room separation of sleep/work, so tastefully done! Mod Pod! Yeah! Hot breakfast was also nice which is a major bonus compared to hotels that only serve continental/cold breakfast. The breakfast staff were amazing! Can't remember the name of the lady, but she was so warm and pleasant. She socialized with everyone in her presence and made us all feel right at home. Great asset the organization! She even made my 8 year old feel comfortable, which is important for families with young children.
Disliked: Toilet was very loosely connected to floor. Each time we went to sit, the entire toilet would come forward as if it had separated from the floor. I'm 5 "2" 125 lbs and my 8 year old weighs 48lbs, and we both thought that we were going to make the toilet collapse by sitting on it. Each time it made a loud bang when sitting on it because it was not secured to the floor properly. My husband is 6ft 240lbs and struggled the most with the toilet almost giving way lol. We stayed one night and took the elevator as we left from breakfast, to prepare for checkout. The elevator had just been occupied by two ladies from housekeeping and we could see the laundry room from the other side of the elevator, which was pretty cool. Assuming that we could enter as well, because there was plenty of room and we were all going to the third floor, we entered the elevator. No items were brought into the elevator by the cleaning staff, only themselves, so yes, plenty of room for 4 adults and 1 child. The welcome feeling wore off fast when a third cleaning lady also approached and the elevator door closed with us all inside. As we went up, the last of the three ladies from staff/housekeeping began speaking to the others in Spanish about how her dislike of us getting onto the elevator with them instead of waiting and how this happens all the time and she doesn't like it. Being very rude the whole time. I am African American, my husband is white/European. Although I do not communicate well in Spanish, I understand it and was appalled by what was said. I did not say anything to them, and told my husband and daughter to allow them to exit first off the elevator just to avoid further negative remarks. I didn't tell my husband what happened until after we were back in the room because he would have thrown a fit and confronted them. Maybe they were just having a bad day...I really wish I could not comprehend what they were saying, but unfortunately I could.
