Liked: Parking should be free, but cost was minimal. Since they did not ask for car license, they must not monitor vehicles on the premises, so the charge must be only to add to room price.

Disliked: •I asked for a quiet room on top floor & didn't care about a view. On both sides of my room were families with very loud young children (multiple kids in each family around ages 2-4, that scream & talk loudly& run with heavy footsteps. I wish they weren't on the top floor where I was.) Insufficient insulation between rooms. I heard another guest complain about the same issue.•Also the clean towels were rough, not soft -- at a Marriott hotel. •The bath/shower mat was hung on a towel bar by the sink, where a hand towel should be, so I had to use a bath towel instead of the bath mat to avoid slipping on the floor; poor design or cleaning staff got it wrong.•No Hallmark channel•$20/day to park in an outdoor, uncovered parking lot? Too much. I thought that would be included.

Affordable luxury hotel.

Liked: So hard to believe this property is located in Auburn, CA. It feels like a luxury 5 star hotel in an exotic location. Staff was attentive, responsive and so pleasant. This was definitely a hotel I’d recommend staying at and the price was truly affordable. Superb breakfast, which came included with our stay.

The hotel is nice ....

Disliked: The person above my room woke me up at 2:00am walking and stomping for the next 4 hours. And I heard a dog barking at 5am
