Stay somewhere else if you...
Liked: I liked that the hotel was local to places I needed to go during my stay, but I chose this hotel for that reason. The bartender and the valet were the only friendly encounters.
Disliked: Customer service was trash. Upon checking in, my room and reservation was held hostage until I paid a surprise mandatory $50 per night fee for the valet. Very disappointed in the response when I expressed that was not something I was aware of. I was met with a condescending “well honey you’re in Atlanta, you don’t want to park your car on the street”… I’m an adult. I will park my car where I like and I was dumbfounded at the lack of customer service from the moment I arrived for check in. I was FULLY unaware of the steep fee, and it would have deterred my reservation for this hotel had I known from the beginning, as my companies policy allows only $200 per night allowance for hotel accommodations. This put me not only over my budget, but is grounds for write up. Not off to a good start ! Get to my room, it’s fine, as expected based on photos etc. Noticed earplugs next to the bed but didn’t think anything of it…. an odd accommodation but no matter. That night, I had one of the worst sleeps I’ve had in a VERY LONG time. I was on the 8th floor and it was SO loud! Machinery humming loudly on the ground below may as well have been in my room! Then the bed was DREADFUL… Hardest bed I’ve ever slept in. Even the pillow was bad… It was feather and the second I laid my head on it, it deflated quicker than a balloon at the end of a kids birthday party. Eventually I tossed it and went no pillow. I tossed and turned and got ZERO quality sleep. I got up super tired and groggy and honestly, pissed off that I wasn’t rested for a big presentation I drove 4.5 hours in for just the evening before. Went to the shower, and if you guessed the shower pressure was that of a baby’s first bath, you’d be correct! Now, my shower is taking forever because the slow trickle of streaming water. I got out of the shower and called customer service immediately. Worst stay, will never stay again. 3 was my level of satisfaction ONLY for the friendly encounter I had with the bartender and the valet.

No breakfast, dingy room, horrible...
Liked: Inside of the room the bed has scratches on it, seemed like since we booked thrid party they gave us a room that had some wear and tear. Breakfast we ended up ordering some from DoorDash because there wasn’t any available in the lobby when we arrived, tables in the area filled with guests eating and likely refilling and food not being replenished enough to accommodate to my understanding the hotel was sold out. Lastly our valet we were going to go out and get breakfast before ordering but for some reason our valet was taking a while to be brought to us we saw other guests being giving there cars who came after us. Overall I would never stray at this property again, but I will definitely still book with springhill as a whole I love property’s I’ve stayed in other locations but Atlanta was not it.

Liked: the size of the room, the staff, the view, and the location.
Disliked: they really pushed for the valet parking, but it was in a safe downtown Atlanta area, and I was able to park on the street behind the hotel just fine.
