Enjoyable and looked forward to...
Liked: Good for bird watching and the history of the century-old house. Owners were engaging, warm, and a joy to talk with as they shared their knowledge of the area and state
Disliked: The woodwork could be cleaner. Opening curtains in the living and dining area to let in more light would have been good.

Fun with interesting hosts.
Liked: Unique buildings, friendly proprietors with ideas for activities, excellent breakfasts, clean, off-the-beaten path surrounded by forest.
Disliked: Hazards include uneven stairs, minimal/old outlets, no walking pathways (had to walk on rough gravel driving surface -- easy to stumble and fall), locks don't always lock.

It could have been great. But sleeping through the night was impossible.
Liked: The rural location a few miles from Patagonia was lovely. The proprietors were friendly and gracious. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was first class.
Disliked: The house has 3 bedrooms: one in the front, one in the back, and one immediately adjacent to the dining room/ kitchen area. The B&B is hosting 2 young men on temporary work assignment in the area. They occupy the front and rear bedrooms. Alas, they need to be on the job at 4:00 AM, so the kitchen gets busy starting about 3AM. There is no way to escape the sound/activity for the poor sole trying to sleep in the bedroom immediately adjacent. Even earplugs were useless. The young men are on the job until October. Why the proprietors would submit a guest to this middle-of-the-night frustration escapes me. I would highly recommend that any potential guest inquire whether they would be asked to spend the night in that middle bedroom - and if so look for another place to stay.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we hope we can come back next year.
Liked: The breakfasts were delicious. The patio had many bird feeders so we saw many various species that we didnt see in the wild. We enjoyed the company of the hosts very much!
Disliked: We didnt want to leave!
