Liked: Bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful. After 9pm the room was nice and quiet. Reasonably close (10 minute walk) from the train station.
Disliked: Unless we were mistaken there was no shower gel only shampoo and body lotion. The shower tray drained very slowly which meant you were standing in a puddle of water. The tray was quite slippery as well. However, the shower itself was quite good.

Will stay again.

Liked: We have stayed at the Spire View before and would stay again. The room was excellent, the continental breakfast as always was lovely and easily accessible next to room with no time restriction so if you woke up a little later you could still access. The restaurant has great food. Easy to get to from train station.
Disliked: Nothing
