Not worth it!

Liked: Location. It's next door to a good Mexican restaurant.
Disliked: The Spinning Wheel is worn out -in need of a deep cleaning and updating. The bed linens were of poor quality and ill-fitting. The owner/manager was unfriendly and not helpful. Despite the low price I did not think it was a good value.

Good

A clean, quiet, reasonable motel,...

Liked: I have stayed here before and liked it very much. Clean, quiet, very reasonable. TCM on the TV (always a plus). Handy location on the east side of Baraboo, not far from downtown delights and close to the roads that lead to the Aldo Leoold Foundation and the International Crane Foundation.
Disliked: Although this has not been a problem in the past, the bed in this room was rather saggy and I did not have a comfortable sleep. I prefer having coffee in the room, and there is none; however, there is coffee available at the office.

Exceptional

Liked: Good price and accommodations

Great stay for the price.

Liked: Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved that it had a mini fridge and that I could control the temp in my room. The shower had some grout that needs re-done, but other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and VERY affordable.
Disliked: The shower had some grout that needs re-done, but it wasn't horrible. It feels dated, but still comfy and cozy.

Exceptional

Liked: Big, comfortable rooms!
Disliked: Liked everything.

A fine place to stay...

Liked: Fine location. There was construction in the area at the time, but that's not an issue with the property itself
Disliked: Didn't really have any issues.

Great value located close to...

Liked: Location and value are the reasons I return to this motel. I have stayed here at least 5 times when I have work in the area and time to squeeze in some adventure. The proximity to Devil's Lake and quality breweries are what keeps me coming back. The staff are efficient and responsive to needs.
Disliked: The water pressure was very poor in my shower. This is the first time I have experienced that issue at this motel.

Older motel provides value for...

Liked: Location was important. There was no breakfast. Motel is getting antiquated and will need some upgrades done. It is still a value when you only need a bed and shower.
Disliked: Carpet is old, bedding looked old and worn, all restroom fixtures need upgrades, broken cabinets drawers need replacement.
