Liked: Beautiful location in close proximity to many great wine farms. Breakfast and dinners (both at Botanica and eRemo - Spicers Guesthouse) were fantastic, unforgettable experiences. Staff are really friendly and extra helpful. The pool and spa pool were fantastic on the warm spring afternoons. Complimentary e-bikes available for use which we took out for the day to explore all of the nearby wine farms - e assistance makes it very easy to get up and down the hills on the bike paths. Everything you could really want or need for a relaxing, romantic getaway in the beautiful Hunter Valley area.
Disliked: Nothing - great experience overall.

Special Honeymoon Stay

Liked: Spicers went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay a wonderful experience! The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and fire place and the bathroom very luxurious with a big spa bath next to opening french windows! The breakfast at Botanica was wonderful and the service there was excellent! We'll be back for our anniversaries in the future for sure!
Disliked: The spa pool, next to the pool, wasn't heated very well, so we weren't able to use it, as it was too cold.
