Great staff & comfortable stay

Liked: Great location in residential street but also close to cafes, restaurants, & other services. Walking distance to Botanic Gardens, Opéra House & Circular Quay.
Disliked: Our daughter had room 1 near front entrance & adjacent to restaurant area so could be some disturbance

Liked: Rooms are beautiful. The house is lovely and quiet and a nice retreat in a busy area
Disliked: The hotel has very little amenity. It's a good place to stay if you want a room only. Breakfast wasn't great. We skipped it after day 1

Great choice: clean comfortable and...

Liked: Comfortable, nicely decorated, clean, great bed and pillows. Very welcoming and engaging staff, great vibe. Nice to be on Victoria, a block from hustle and bustle yet peaceful.
Disliked: A bit noisy on the back alley at times, but otherwise a great balance of service and location and ease of access to city sites.

A definite winner - beautiful...

Liked: The entire place is beautiful. We paid for the parking at a very reasonable price and it was locked away securely - so easy to drive in and be safe. The room was impeccable, the service was impeccable and the location was perfect for what we wanted. The bathroom was very clean and tidy and the fridge with amenities was exactly as expected. Very gorgeous little place to stay. Was given a welcome coffee while our bags went into the room and on departure a little farewell cake. The staff were excellent from when I booked, to when we departed.
Disliked: This was a good stay for us. Location perfect for an event that we were attending, and Spicers is just lovely. Such an old building and beautiful. Nothing I didn't like.

Liked: An ideally located property with all a traveller could ask for - comfort, elegance, facilities and welcoming friendly staff.
Disliked: NA

No regret

Liked: A hotel with a lot of charm and character, both outside and in the interior decoration. The staff is very welcoming and helpful (they offer great advice on places to visit and restaurants). The breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: The price is a bit high
