All in all dated and overpriced but convenient to the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.

Liked: Pretty hotel inside; horrible bed; nice restaurant open late.
Disliked: When checking out was charged $192 instead of the original booking of $155 as copied, printed and taken to show them; they said they didn't know what to do about it and would get back to us - nothing yet.

Liked: Location and lobby are fantastic. Rooms are clean and bedding is comfy. Breakfast in the restaurant is good.
Disliked: The rooms need updating and are bare minimum as there are no charging stations for electronics and not many channels on the tv. The lighting in the bathroom is very dim and the body wash and lotion for guests does not smell good. The Sparks Restaurant and Starbucks seems understaffed as the restaurant was not open for lunch(would have been great since we were there for an all day dance competition) and the Starbucks had a very limited menu. The bathrooms near the ballrooms were not restocked from the day before and there was no toilet paper in most of the stalls and the trash cans were over flowing at 7:00am.

Liked: The location was #1 for me working at the courthouse! The rooms are great with very diligent cleaning staff. The water pressure was superb which was a great feature. The bathrooms and rooms are spacious. I look forward to coming back when the huge pool is open. The fact that there is a Starbucks for in the mornings and a bar, lounge, and restaurant makes this an ideal place to stay! The terrace offers a luxurious laid back vibe that makes it feel like home away from home. The absolute best feature of my stay was the staff, all were extremely genuine and committed to me having a positive experience.
