Liked: After hiking all day on the South Kaibab Trail in the Grand Canyon, we were exhausted and making the late drive to Sedona.  When we received a call from a staff member of the Southwest Inn in Sedona.  He was doing a welfare check on us.   When we arrived he had extra pillows ready for our tired bodies. When does that happen these days.  It was a touch of  class rarely seen anymore. The large room was excellent with a fireplace and a private balcony that gave us a great view of the Sedona mountains. My wife loved the breakfast omelet and pancakes.  We stayed in three hotels over our five day trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon, they were all very nice, but the Southwest Inn in Sedona was the best. Liked: The staff were friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable.The view was good.
Disliked: We paid a high price for our stay as it started on new years day. The noise from the road is loud, so if you want to sleep past 6:30am you might need earplugs.

Liked: Loved the fireplace in the room as well as the beautiful artistic headboard and ambiance of the room. Great free breakfast as well (omelets, pancakes, bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, juices, and coffee). Perfect location as well.

Liked: I thought I had asked to change to two beds with Booking.com. Anyway, the manager was able to switch to two, convenient for our adult son, who would otherwise have had to stay in a different room. The room was quite spacious, very comfortable.

Liked: The staff at the front desk is nice.
Disliked: The hotel mistook our reservation: we booked a queen room with two queen beds for 3 nights, while when we arrived, they had only a king room with one king bed available. My friend and I had to stay on the same bed for one night with poor sleep and then pack our bags to move to another queen room after the first day. We contacted the front desk and booking customer service a lot of times regarding this issue, and got the response from the front desk that we had to wait for their manager to handle this. However, until when I write this comment, the property manager still hasn’t responded to us.
