Southbank is a Georgian town house in the middle of Elgin and the Whiskey Trail. It is a few minutes' walk from the town center's shops and restaurants. The guest house is over 200 years old and located on a quiet road. It is popular with those keen on golf fishing or seeking castles and malt whiskey. Close by are the Glen Moray distillery the Elgin Cathedral ruins and biblical gardens. Beautiful beaches are 10 minutes away where you may spot bottlenose dolphins or even a minki whale. Southbank is close to museums Johnstons Cashmere Center and Baxters where you can sample a local pancake.

Very good

Liked: Its was a nice place, great chief and cleaning staff.
Disliked: It was on a narrow backstreet and the room was not that warm especially after the heating was turned off during the night

Liked: Spotlessly clean, good facilities, great breakfasts, relaxed atmosphere, I would happily go back when I am back in Elgin.

Liked: Everything was excellent, room was brilliant.Very big and comfortable and breakfast was great. Staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us.

Great location, great breakfast and...

Liked: The property was located just a short walk from the main street and the same distance to the train station so excellent location.The host Isabell was absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable abut the surrounding area and would make every effort to accommodate your needs. Rooms were very clean at all times and the breakfast was cooked to perfection every morning
Disliked: Nothing
