Very friendly and welcoming hotel

Liked: Very personable friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent. A nice bar area with good drinks selection at reasonable prices.
Disliked: The toast was like cardboard

Disliked: The hotel is very tired staff seemed very stretched although we're excellent rooms tired aswell could do with a makeover

Troon visit....

Liked: Hotel staff were very friendly, free car parking large comfortable room. Hotel close to the beach for a stroll.
Disliked: Someone tried to get into my room before I checked out on my departure day....didnt even knock. Just put a key in the door around 9.45...10am. I shouted there was someone still in the room. The man acknowledged what i said but no apology and no idea who he was as he did not tell me! Not sure if they forgot the room was occupied but not great when your a female travelling solo! Room fittings and fixtures were a little tired.

Lovely staff, great room and...

Liked: I need an accessible room and this was provided, lots of space, accessible bathroom and no stairs.
Disliked: The hotel normally charges £15 per night for additional cleaning when you have a dog. I think that is excessive and a one off payment would be a better option.
