Liked: Beautiful room, great location, lovely city, in addition to the usual offerings, breakfast included waffles and falafel!

Liked: - the location of the hotel is perfect, directly in the center of Winterthur- the rooms are big and good equipped- a parking garage is very close to the hotel- the staff is very friendly and helpful - price / quality was good- good breakfast is served

Disliked: the fact that the lights in the room did not turned off all night. Next day I had to change room because the technician couldn’t fix it …..also the fact that there is nobody at the reception after 3.30pm

Old expensive hotel in Winterthur....

Liked: The breakfast was just ok
Disliked: This is old property with very few employees. Check in was awful. At 8 pm the front gate was closed. There was an unreadable note behind metal grill to call a number. Fortunately, a local friend accompanied us and she was able to call the number and get the code for the entrance. The hotel never sent me any email to inform us of this situation. Next morning we were told that they were not provided my email by Booking.com. I showed them my receipt which clearly shows email. There was no further follow up from the hotel.The room temperature was set at 24 C We couldn’t get it below that. The front desk told us to just open the windows if it is too hot. This from a so called 4 star hotel at $300 plus a night is totally unacceptable.The same procedure was repeated when we checked out early. There was no one at the front desk and we had to close the main gate behind us. The only good news is that this hotel is 3 minutes walk from the train station and we were able to get a train to the airport.!!!!

good for my working trip...

Liked: nice and Cousy hotel in the city center, good vibe, good restaurant and bar at night the staff was verry nice
Disliked: a little old fusain but it is fine by me, blanket was too small
