Wonderful Gem With Small Neighborhood...

Liked: Wonderful! Beautiful hotel, clean well appointed room. Small neighborhood vibe, close to University of Chicago hospital. My Dad and I stayed while my mom was in ICU at the hospital. Chris, at the front desk, was AMAZING. He was kind, welcoming, compassionate and helped us with parking and reservations. Chris and the Sophy were a gem in a different time. Thank you!

Beautiful room. Great staff!

Liked: The room was great. Service, food and drink in the lounge were excellent.
Disliked: Not a whole lot to do in the immediate vicinity but we found a couple of hidden gem restaurants and hope to get a reservation at James Beard recognized Virtue next time we visit, which is two blocks away.

Just what I needed for...

Liked: I liked the fact that the hotel is located in an area with lots of restaurants in walking distance. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. I did find the room to be attractive and comfortable. I loved the artwork throughout the rooms and in the hallway. I would definitely visit again.
Disliked: One thing I can say is that I would have liked the weekend menu to be the same as the weekly menu because it offered more variety with breakfast foods.

Liked: The location was great as we were on a “stay-cation” program to celebrate 32 years of marriage.
Disliked: The parking program was a surprise with a $50 per day charge to stay on the property. We are seniors so that was a difficulty.
