No rest for the weary....

Liked: Wasn't a whole lot to like.
Disliked: Where to begin? Upon check-in and getting into the room, opening the door, we were hit in the face with a pungent odor. It did not smell clean at all. There were no trash bags in the trash cans throughout the room. Not enough towels for all of us in the room. My wife noticed what appeared to be a crusted booger on the picture hanging in the bathroom. The sofa bed was a science experiment in the making. We didn't even let our toddler sleep on it. It was disgusting. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. I'd suggest not taking a black light to that thing. The king bed was so uncomfortable, nobody got much sleep on it, it was so hard and the springs seemed to be shot in the mattress. I did go down to the front desk to inquire about more towels and to let them know about that smell in the room, to which, the apologized, and brought up more towels and came up to spray something in the room to deodorize the room, but that didn't help much at all. Apparently the owner was having a private event this past weekend and there were a bunch of family down in the common area of the motel, of which, were a lot of noisy, rambunctious kids that were running rampant all over the lounge area. They were so loud they could he heard coming down the halls from the elevator. I can only imagine the patrons on the first floor. Just unbelievable that they would let the kids be that loud, knowing that other people may be trying to rest. All in all, this motel will not be seeing my business again.
