Liked: Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, black out curtains
Disliked: The person at the front desk was dry. Didn't welcome us. He was on the phone when we arrived and didn't even acknowledge us. Once he was done we asked for early check in he said it would be a charge and we were ok with the charge. Then he said he didn't have a king bed as we had originally booked they only had a double bed. We were so tired from traveling we said that was fine. Then he said take a left and it's on the second floor. We were looking for an elevator as we only saw stairs Went back and asked, he said there was no elevator only stairs. The stairs and the carpet on the floor are sooo dirty and smell like dust. Perhaps if they steamed cleaned them once in a while with a professional it would look a little nicer. Same issue with the carpet in the room. The room was comfortable, and the bed was comfortable. However, someone was constantly smoking pot because every time we walked out of the room left and came back in the hallways, it smelled like pot really strong smell. That was a turn off. I guess although it clearly states no smoking people still do it and they don't address it. Once I stayed at a hotel and they kicked someone out for smoking pot in the room. The other complaint is that there is a sign in the room that says clearly on the back on the door that check out is at 12 pm. Check out was not mentioned when we checked in. Between 9 and 10 the guy at the front desk is knocking on the doors asking everyone who is scheduled to check out that day if you're checking out, check out is at 11. Someone asked about the sign saying 12 and he said no its 11. I don't see the need of having to knock on the doors every day asking ppl if they're leaving. This is every day and we were there 3 days. Other than that it was an ok stay. There's a cracker barrel next to the hotel, a mcdonald's, Dennys and a Mexican restaurant near by called Taqueria Maria's which serves excellent soup, tacos and drinks.

Superb

Liked: The property was well kept for the most part. The hallway rugs were in dire need of cleaning but the rooms were fine.It did seem as though some guests were cooking in their rooms, the food orders were very strong.The receptionist saw my wife had difficulty walking so he gave us a room close to an exit, thank you.
