Disapointing

Liked: Did not know the hotel was under construction. Playing a resort fee of $40.00 to walk around construction and to awaken in the morning by the beeping of equipment backing up destroyed our enjoyment.
Disliked: The front desk was short-handed and on the phone while we waited to check out.

Absolutely wonderful and the resort...

Liked: Beautiful resort, however, they were under construction during our visit. It did not affect our room oranything else we needed. My friend even left her AirPods under her pillow when we checked out. After calling them and getting transferred to lost and found, they looked for them, found them and kept them safe for us to pick up when we went back through town that is exceptional service!

Disappointed

Liked: the lobby and grounds were beautiful
Disliked: There were renovations underway at the resort. We only stayed two nights but woke up both days to construction noise. In addition, the primary reason we selected this hotel was because it had a hot tub but the hot tub was part of the renovation but was not disclosed anywhere. Also, there was a dental stick lying on the bathroom floor from the prior guest which was gross.

Disliked: Sonesta did not have disclaimer anywhere that property is under construction . Property is under construction in all major areas lobby , pool area , paths are blocked . Noisy and dusty . Rooms were refurbished but poorly done .
