It's not a word, but that's how I describe my stay, fantabulous! All the employees were very nice and helpful. My room was both clean and cozy, the hotel was walking distance to the mall, the movie theater and several great restaurants. Plus, in the parking lot is a Starbucks and across the street is the best doughnut shop ever! There is no doubt that when I come back to Grand Rapids I'm staying at the Ramada Inn.

Very nice hotel; good price, good location.

Disliked: A little slow with check in.

Disliked: Housekeeping was pushy - knocked the first time at 8:30am. 15 minutes later then just tried to walk in.

We didn't spend much time in our room. It was comfortable. We did like that it was connected to the "Old Chicago" Bar & Grill as it was pouring outside and didn't want to venture out for food. The pizza was AMAZING!

Liked: Very clean and nicely furnished
Disliked: AC unit in our room rattled all night long

To many minor problems which...

Liked: The location and the fact it’s a bar on the hotel
Disliked: The he pool had a ring of dirt the hotel wasn’t working the pool had a slide that wasn’t working the pool area didn’t have any towels and online said free breakfast and it wasnt free had to pay for it no microwave the hot water stop working in the middle of the night in the whole hotel leaving us unable to take shower and get ready for the day

Liked: The lobby was lovely and the room was great! Very comfortable and had everything we needed.
Disliked: The pool was a bit gross and FREEZING COLD!! Also the slide was just a big tease for the kids…it was not functional.

Terrible experience.

Disliked: I arrived at 4, check in time and had to wait over a hour for my room to be available. There was a group of 5 ahead of me who also had to wait. The front desk worker offered the 5 people a drink from the bar for the inconvenience. When I asked why I wasn’t offered a drink for my inconvenience I was told they can no longer do that & it shouldn’t have been offered in the first place. When I finally get my room I realize my room is right next to a room that’s having a party with no adults present. I witnessed several altercations amongst children & 2 altercations with adults in the pool area. When it was time to lay down it was hard to get any sleep because the room next to mine was so loud, which I complained about but nothing was done. The hot tub was packed with children all night. So I planned on getting in, in the morning before check out, but the pool & hot tub were both closed due to being trashed. Terrible experience

Overall the hotel was clean...

Disliked: I went to drink one of the complimentary water bottles in my hotel room and they were not replaced from the previous guest.

Nice, but would not go...

Liked: The beds were comfortable
Disliked: The room was not cleaned appropriately, the water temperature was poor in the shower, the swimming area was not as the pictures, the slide is not long active and the hot tub was also out of order and had signs that stated for good on them. So if you booking based on the swim area don’t because it’s all out of order. We called down for towels never received them and the employee was so rude about it and hung up in my face.A child within the hotel pulled the fire alarm at 230 in the morning then we had firefighters coming to our room accusing us of smoking waking our children up. front desk made us aware someone pulled the next morning)
