It's not a word, but that's how I describe my stay, fantabulous! All the employees were very nice and helpful. My room was both clean and cozy, the hotel was walking distance to the mall, the movie theater and several great restaurants. Plus, in the parking lot is a Starbucks and across the street is the best doughnut shop ever! There is no doubt that when I come back to Grand Rapids I'm staying at the Ramada Inn.

Very nice hotel; good price, good location.

Disliked: A little slow with check in.

Disliked: Housekeeping was pushy - knocked the first time at 8:30am. 15 minutes later then just tried to walk in.

We didn't spend much time in our room. It was comfortable. We did like that it was connected to the "Old Chicago" Bar & Grill as it was pouring outside and didn't want to venture out for food. The pizza was AMAZING!

Liked: Very clean and nicely furnished
Disliked: AC unit in our room rattled all night long

Overall the hotel was clean...

Disliked: I went to drink one of the complimentary water bottles in my hotel room and they were not replaced from the previous guest.

Nice, but would not go...

Liked: The beds were comfortable
Disliked: The room was not cleaned appropriately, the water temperature was poor in the shower, the swimming area was not as the pictures, the slide is not long active and the hot tub was also out of order and had signs that stated for good on them. So if you booking based on the swim area don’t because it’s all out of order. We called down for towels never received them and the employee was so rude about it and hung up in my face.A child within the hotel pulled the fire alarm at 230 in the morning then we had firefighters coming to our room accusing us of smoking waking our children up. front desk made us aware someone pulled the next morning)

Disliked: As we understand that the hotel can not control the clientele of their guests. The night we stayed was a particular unusual situation of a person screaming "Help ME" out multiple times in the middle of the night. it was very alarming and concerning and honestly felt like a horror house.

Liked: The room by the pool. The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was great and if we had neighbors you didn't hear them. I will be back.
Disliked: A little wear and tear in the room. The sliding door of the bathroom was off the hinges.

Liked: The staff was wonderful
Disliked: Our king size room which would indicate that we didn’t have children with us and most likely would not be using the pool was anointed to the pool. We had to be up early both day we stayed so we wanted to get some rest! Very hard to do with the pool party that was taking place right outside our room both nights! Also the over powering smell of chlorine made us both have terrible headaches. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay this is not it!

Disappointing

Liked: The lobby looks like it was recently redone and the bar looked nice but there was no staff to run it. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks but it wasn’t the real Starbucks ones and I never got my second sandwich. I waited 15 minutes and left before I ever got it. Frustrating!!
Disliked: It wasn’t as clean as I thought it would be
